Sarah Command is a multi-instrumentalist who's love for music at a young age organically evolved into opportunities that took her to Nashville, Los Angeles, and across Canada. Landing a publishing/production deal at the age of 13 in Nashville with her sister, Charlotte Command, the duo known as The Command Sisters recorded a full album— which won them the "Rising Star Award" and "Artist to Watch Award" in the Edmonton Music Awards. Performing and working on her craft has brought opportunities such as privately meeting the royals William and Kate in Calgary 2013, playing 3 times at the CCMAs, be one of 8 finalist for the rising star award at the CCMAs, being featured in Guitar World Magazine, performing at the EcoLounge for the Sundance Film Festival and MTV Movie Awards, and performing at NAAM festival in front of Sheila E. and Jimmy Hendrix's sister in Los Angeles after winning a John Lennon songwriting award with her sister. Having recorded 3 albums, Sarah has been mentored and inspired by many great musicians. She took pride in playing all of the lead guitar on the album recorded in Nashville, which helped her appreciate how crucial working hard and having motivation is for aspiring musicians.
Sarah Command
Award-winning multi-instrumentalist/preformer.
Being young herself, Sarah loves being able to have that connection to younger musicians who love music as well- which has inspired this music studio. Music is her passion, and to be able to pass that passion on is one of her greatest successes. Music shouldn't only be taught, the love for music should be taught.
